Through adopting the conventions of Chinese painting and calligraphy I explore the day to day existence of being a Chinese/Australian and to a smaller degree the experiences of the Asian/Australian community. I try to encapsulate the absurdities of negotiating everyday life with a dual-cultural perspective that can often leave one in an identity purgatory.

My practice also encompasses printmaking, ceramics and installation.
